Job description

Are you considering a career in education? Do you want to dip your toes in and get paid for doing so? Do you want a fulfilling role working with children who really need your care and support? We are inundated with roles supporting pupils in secondary schools with Special Educational Needs. This will range from children with social needs (SEMH), learning difficulties (MLD), autism and specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia and Down's Syndrome. We are looking for successful graduates to fill these positions. Right now we have a specific role in a secondary school in Bath supporting a female student with Autism. This is to start immediately. If you are only available from September then there is a more general SEN role in their Learning difficulties base. Ideally you will need some SEN experience, educational or childcare experience but this is not essential. If you have a strong academic record in maths and English, you would be perfect for a 1:1 support with learning difficulties; If you have the right personality to deal with challenging pupils, you will be perfect for Mental Health; If you have had previous experience with autism, then ASC support is ideal for you! Both roles are full-time. If you are interested, why not give me a call so we can discuss the right role for you? Just quote "Graduate Teaching Assistant" and we will put you through to the right consultant. I look forward to hearing from you. |
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
