SEN Primary Teaching Assistant
Job description
Are you someone who is compassionate about providing quality support to children with special educational needs? If so, then we have an opportunity for you. There is an exciting new opening for a SEN Teaching Assistant in a brilliant primary school, based in Wythenshawe, M22. This role is to start ASAP on an ongoing basis.
In this role you will be working closely with the class teacher and other professionals to ensure the child has the best opportunity to strive both academically and social, tailoring your approach based on their needs.
The school, rated “good” by OFSTED Framework is a two form primary school, with a well-balanced team comprised of senior and junior experienced staff members, providing a great place to work and grow. The atmosphere in the school is a positive and friendly one, where all people work towards the same goal of supporting the younger generations towards their goals.
The school are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to inspire the children to achieve their goals. The ideal educator will have a patient and understanding approach to supporting pupils, showing great communication skills. You will also have a passion for supporting children with special educational needs. Personal and professional experience is welcomed for this role, the Head Teacher has commented on being interested in educators with a keen attitude and are open to shortlisting educators with transferable skills that may been gained from outside of the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
