SEN Teacher
Job description
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate General Teacher to join a highly reputable and award-winning SEN School Group at their Tadworth site. The Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching tailored to the individual needs of students. They will create engaging lesson plans, support the holistic development of pupils, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure outstanding learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment.
- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure the best possible development for students.
- Encourage independence, communication, and life skills among pupils.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the school’s ongoing development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working within SEN settings (preferred but not essential).
- A strong understanding of autism, ADHD, and other complex learning needs.
- A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Role: General SEN Teacher
Contract: Fulltime, Fixed contract
Start: April 2025 (sooner is desirable)
Salary Dependent on experience, with SEN allowance
Area: Tadworth

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
