Job description

An outstanding and award-winning SEN school group is seeking a dedicated and innovative Teacher of ICT to join the permanent staff at their Windsor site. The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality ICT lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND. They will foster a stimulating and accessible learning environment, using adaptive teaching methods to ensure students thrive in their digital education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons suited to a range of learning abilities.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a variety of special educational needs.
  • Develop students’ digital literacy and problem-solving skills in a supportive setting.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and support staff.
  • Assess, track, and report on student progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment, promoting positive learning experiences.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEND, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and complex learning needs (preferred but not essential).
  • A strong knowledge of ICT and computing curriculum, with the ability to differentiate effectively.
  • A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to student development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
  • A flexible and proactive approach to teaching in a specialist setting.

Role: ICT Teacher
Contract: Fulltime, Fixed contract
Start: April 2025 (sooner is desirable)
Salary Dependent on experience, with SEN allowance
Area: Windsor

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
