Pupil Referral Units (PRUs): Supporting pupils who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream schools, with a strong emphasis on pastoral care, reintegration strategies, and core subject delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Planning and delivering differentiated Maths lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students

Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
-
Working closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement effective strategies
-
Managing classroom behaviour positively and constructively
-

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Maths, ideally in SEN/SEMH or alternative education settings (preferred but not essential)
-
A flexible and resilient attitude, with a strong desire to support vulnerable learners
-
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
-
A commitment to inclusive and trauma-informed education
