Maths Teacher – Secondary School – Audenshaw – September Start

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working alongside a highly regarded, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Audenshaw. The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their successful Mathematics department on a full-time basis starting in September.

Location: Audenshaw, Greater Manchester
Start Date: September
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term position
Pay: In line with your teaching scale (MPS/UPS)

About the Role:

  • Delivering high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that challenge and inspire pupils of all abilities

  • Assessing and tracking student progress in line with school and national standards, ensuring strong outcomes

  • Contributing to a supportive and forward-thinking department committed to raising achievement

  • Participating fully in school life, including staff CPD sessions, parents’ evenings, and departmental meetings

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

  • Be a passionate advocate for Mathematics with strong curriculum knowledge

  • Be skilled at fostering a positive, engaging learning environment where every student can thrive

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and strong interpersonal skills

  • Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS registered on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
