Mathematics Teacher – Full-Time – Immediate Start (Post-Easter 2025)

Location: Salford Secondary School
Start Date: After the Easter Holidays – April 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term or Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS – £31,650 to £49,084 per annum (dependent on experience)

A highly regarded secondary school in Salford is seeking an experienced or newly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from April 2025 following the Easter holidays.

This is a long-term opportunity with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate. You will be responsible for teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons that foster mathematical thinking, problem-solving, and academic growth. The school has a welcoming, collaborative atmosphere and a strong focus on student progress.

Role Requirements:

  • Hold UK QTS with a specialism in Mathematics

  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management and organisational skills

  • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to meet individual student needs

  • Have a passion for helping students excel in a core subject

  • Be available full-time from April 2025

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
