Maths Teacher – Permanent Role starting in September 

Location: Bolton
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (£31,650 - £49,084 per annum, dependent on experience)

A faith-based secondary school in Bolton is looking for a fully qualified Maths Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis from September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring all students are supported and motivated to achieve their full potential. You will be expected to plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of students, working closely within a dedicated and high-performing Maths department. As part of this role, you will contribute to the school’s faith-based ethos, providing guidance and support to students while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning to create a positive and productive classroom environment.

We are seeking a qualified teacher with QTS and a degree in Mathematics or a related subject. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting and a passion for inspiring students while fostering a love for Maths. Strong classroom management skills are essential, along with the ability to engage learners of all abilities. A commitment to supporting the school’s faith values and wider school community is also important.
