Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:

The English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring services to students in the East of England area. Duties include developing lesson plans, delivering engaging and informative lessons, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents.

Required Qualifications:

- A degree in Education or relevant field

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience in tutoring English and Maths at GCSE level

Proven experience in tutoring English and Maths at GCSE level

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:

This role involves part-time hours, with flexibility in scheduling. The tutor will be required to travel to different locations in the East of England to conduct tutoring sessions. The work environment may vary depending on the location of the sessions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
