Job description

Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Intervention Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Rochford

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

Salary:

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored intervention sessions in English and Maths for Key Stage 3 students
  • Create engaging and effective lesson plans to address individual learning needs
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Specialisation in English and Maths

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in Key Stage 3

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum in English and Maths
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective classroom management techniques
  • Experience in delivering intervention programmes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
