Teaching Personnel are looking for Cover supervisors to work in our Secondary schools across Newport, Caerphilly, Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent and Monmouthshire

We are looking for Graduates, Sports coaches, Aspiring teachers, and Retired teachers. We are looking for confident and enthusiastic people over all walks of life that have the skills and qualities to cover lessons and manage classroom behaviour in secondary schools.

The successful cover supervisors will be confident presenting and delivering set work to a classroom of Secondary aged students. Ideally you will have experience working with children and be educated at a degree level, however candidates having the correct attitude and characteristics is more important. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who has thought about working within the education sector, or someone who is looking for a career change.

Working within education is a rewarding job that offers satisfying results and generous pay. Cover supervisors will get paid a minimum of GBP10.80 per hour. Cover supervisors also do not need to plan any work as this will be left by the teacher. We have full time and part time roles available, with flexible working hours. Working with teaching personnel means that you will be entitles to free CPD and safeguarding courses that will all benefit you for a career in education. You will also be paid via PAYE with no umbrella companies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
