KS1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are excited to be hiring for a KS1 classroom teaching assistant for a thriving school in the Blackpool area.
Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackpool
Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Is this you?
- A driven individual with a passion for learning and working with children.
- Fantastic communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- A can-do attitude and an ambition to learn and develop new skills.
- Experience working with children (desirable, but not essential).
What you'll be doing:
- Working alongside the class teacher to engage the pupils in lessons and other activities
- Helping pupils with their English and Maths in small groups and 1:1 settings
- Fostering a genuine love for learning in the formative years of the pupils you work with
- Supporting pupils in both their academic and social development
- Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
