Job description

Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) either professionally or personally? Are you passionate about helping SEN pupils develop academically and socially?

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN teaching assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with autistic spectrum condition (ASC).

Location: Cleveleys, FY5

Hours: Full-time/Part-time options available

Setting: Mainstream Primary School

Pay: Competitive and experience-based

- Can you effectively monitor and assess the progress of your 1:1 pupil, tailoring learning to their specific developmental needs?

- Do you have an enhanced DBS check (or are willing to obtain one)?

About the role:

- You will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging activities tailored to the individual needs of the pupil

- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will adapt resources and teaching strategies to best support the pupil

- Your role will involve developing positive communication and engagement from the pupil

- You will play a crucial role in enabling the pupil to access the curriculum through your outstanding support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
