Teaching Personnel are recruiting looking to recruit enthsiastic Teaching Assistants in the Walsall Area looking for roles to start in the September Term
The ideal candidate will have expereince supporting teachers by helping to supervise activities in the classroom, working with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis. Ideally a canddiate will have previous experience as a TA, SEN TA or LSA preferably within secondary schools. Those with experience in youth work, sports coaching or tutoring should also apply. This role is a great opportunity for graduates looking to start a career in education with in school experience.
Key responsibilities of teaching or learning support assistants include:
- supporting children across the curriculum, often with a particular focus on maths, reading and writing
- giving extra help to children with special needs or those for whom English is not their first language
- helping to develop programmes of learning activities and adapting appropriate materials
- motivating and encouraging pupils
- assisting with marking and correcting work
- attending meetings and reviews
- helping with school events, trips and activities
Opportunities
- Pay between GBP1200 - GBP1350 per month
- Work in a Walsall based secondary schools
- Roles to start September 2021
The role will be for immediate start, although it is subject to a DBS check, right to work UK authorisation so relevant documentation must be provided.
