About the Role:

As an ICT Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school’s IT systems. You’ll provide technical support, maintain hardware and software, and assist with troubleshooting IT-related issues. This is initially a temporary position, but there is potential for it to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line IT support to students and staff.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network systems.
• Assist with the installation and configuration of new technology.
• Ensure the security and efficiency of the school’s IT infrastructure.
• Support classroom technology, including interactive displays and educational software.

About You:

• Experience in an IT support role (preferably in an educational setting).
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A proactive and approachable attitude with great communication skills.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
