Job description

Maths Teacher needed for full-time role in September. 

A welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Bolton is seeking a fully qualified Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive environment where staff are valued, and students are motivated to achieve their best.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students develop strong numeracy skills and a positive attitude toward Mathematics. The school has a strong Maths department with modern resources and a commitment to continual improvement.

The successful candidate must hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Maths at secondary school level. ECTs are also warmly encouraged to apply.

This secondary school is easily accessible by public transport and major road networks, making it a convenient location for teachers across Bolton, Bury, Salford, and surrounding areas.

The Role:

  • Full-time, permanent Maths teaching role starting September 2025.

  • Delivering Maths across KS3 and KS4.

  • Full planning, teaching, and assessment responsibilities.

  • Contributing to the wider school community through departmental and pastoral initiatives.

  • Paid to scale - MPS/UPS
