Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Intervention Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Billericay

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time hours

£20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

1. Provide tailored English and Maths intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

2. Develop and implement individualised learning plans to support the academic progress of SEN students.

3. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes.

4. Collaborate with SENCO and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment for students.

5. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Specialism in English and Maths

- Experience working with students with SEN

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of SEN interventions and strategies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students

Working Conditions:

- Part-Time hours, flexible schedule

- Work in a school or learners home setting with SEN students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
