Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Intervention Tutor

Job Duties:
- Provide tailored intervention sessions to students aiming to improve their English and Maths GCSE grades
- Create individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and weaknesses
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding of key concepts
- Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with other educators and parents to support student learning
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Demonstrated experience in teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs
- Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
- Experience in delivering intervention programmes
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
- Work closely with students, educators, and parents
- Provide remote or in-person tutoring sessions in learners home or community centers
- Maintain accurate records of student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
