Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and effective English and Maths GCSE tutoring sessions
• Provide outreach support to students in need of additional assistance
• Create tailored learning plans to meet individual student needs
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure student success

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialist subject knowledge in English and Maths at GCSE level
• Experience in delivering effective tutoring or teaching sessions

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in teaching or tutoring English and Maths at GCSE level

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Organisational skills to plan and deliver effective tutoring sessions
• Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
• Work primarily in a learners home or community settings
• May require travel within the East of England region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
