Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Intervention Tutor

Job Duties:

• Provide targeted English and Maths GCSE intervention sessions to students
• Create individualised learning plans based on student needs
• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to improve student understanding and performance
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to address student challenges and successes

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialist knowledge in English and Maths at GCSE level
• Experience in delivering targeted intervention programmes

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of GCSE curriculum and assessment requirements
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective classroom management techniques
• Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will primarily work with students in a classroom or their home setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
