Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor

Job Duties:
- Provide one-on-one tutoring in English and Maths for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised lesson plans based on students' specific learning needs
- Assist students in improving their literacy and numeracy skills
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide comprehensive support
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling
- Work primarily in a classroom or learners home setting
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
