Job Title: English and Maths GCSE SEN Tutor

Job Duties:

• Provide one-on-one tutoring in English and Maths for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Create individualised lesson plans based on students' specific learning needs
• Assist students in improving their literacy and numeracy skills
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to provide comprehensive support

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with students with SEN
• Strong knowledge of the GCSE English and Maths curriculum

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths to students with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling
• Work primarily in a classroom or learners home setting
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
