Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Intervention Tutor
Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Provide tailored English and Maths intervention sessions to Key Stage 3 students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans to address specific learning challenges
- Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to support student development
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge in SEN interventions for English and Maths
- Experience working with Key Stage 3 students
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Demonstrated experience in delivering effective intervention strategies
- Strong understanding of SEN support mechanisms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional SEN training or certification
- Experience working in a similar role within a school setting
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
