A Primary School in Leeds are currently looking for a caring and passionate teaching assistant who is experienced in supporting children who have special needs to work alongside a child 1:1 who has Autism.
The school is located in LS26 and continues to be an Ofsted graded Good' school. The Head teacher is looking for someone who can understand the needs of the child and support their learning. This role would be starting full time and they wish to meet someone as soon as possible for interview (before 13th July). The successful candidate will be working full time hours 8:30am-3:30pm offering up to GBP90 per day depending on experience.
The successful candidate will have the right attitude alongside some experience in order to meet the demands of the role supporting pupils with challenging behaviour.
You must be committed to building a trusting relationship with the pupils, so you can successfully encourage them to participate in learning. The school welcomes those who have experience working in SEN schools, with a pro-active and engaging personality.

The school offer free onsite parking to all workers, also the nearest bus stop is only a 5 minute walk away from the school.
The successful candidate will need to be available to work from September 2020 for a full time permanent role.
