Trainee Teaching Assistant

Starting from £83.85 per day.

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? We’re looking for Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Monmouthshire. No school experience? No problem! We value personal experience and skills gained in roles such as support work, coaching, mentoring, and childcare.
About the Role:
- Support students in the classroom, individually or in small groups.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide encouragement and guidance to students of all abilities.
- Assist with classroom management and general admin tasks.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for education
✅ Experience in support work, coaching, mentoring, or similar roles
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ A positive and patient attitude
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (help will be provided by Teaching Personnel).
- EWC Registration
- Able to provide 2 most recent references.
- Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
