Year 6 Maths Intervention Teacher

- Part-time (0.6) - days negotiable
- ASAP start until July 2021
A school situated in Darwen town are seeking a Year 6 Maths intervention specialist to start as soon as possible. The role will be delivering creative and engaging Maths sessions to pupils who are currently below the expected standard for the year group. The pupils will have been affected by two lockdowns in their Maths progress and are currently working at a Year 4 level. The school are keen to quickly help these pupils catch up before they transition to secondary education.
The school wish to appoint someone who has experience in a similar role or with a Maths specialism. You must be a qualified Teacher and have experience working in KS2, preferably Year 6.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
