Are you a passionate and dedicated French teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our vibrant language department in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' learning and foster a love for languages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging French lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with potential to teach Key Stage 5).
- Inspire and motivate students to develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver a dynamic, diverse French curriculum.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in school activities and help promote the importance of languages within the school community.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in French, Modern Languages, or a related subject.
- Experience teaching French at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the French language and culture.
- Ability to inspire students and build their confidence in language learning.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- Enthusiastic, student-centred, and committed to making a positive difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
