Supply Teacher
Join a number of vibrant, successful secondary schools located in the South Manchester area for regular, flexible teaching work.
This Supply Teacher position is suited to newly qualified teachers looking to gain experience in a variety of schools in Manchester or experienced teachers looking to reduce their timetable.
Working as a supply teacher, you will be responsible for covering classes in the short term absence of teachers, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment. Successful teachers will also be given the opportunity to cover medium and long bookings when required. We welcome applications from teachers of all subject specialisms.
Highlights of this Supply Teacher position:
- Regular teaching work between 1-5 days per week dependant on availability
- Access to your own online availability diary to amend accordingly
- GBP100 - GBP120 per day based on teaching experience
- Introduction to a number of secondary schools located in the South Manchester area
- Access to ongoing CPD and opportunities to develop your professional practice
Successful applicants will need to be located within a commutable distance from South Manchester with most schools easily accessibility from the M60 motorway. For those on public transport, schools can be accessed via bus routes and Metrolinks from the city centre and surrounding areas.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
