Head of PE – Exciting Long-Term Opportunity in a Thriving Northampton School!

The Role:
As the Head of PE, you will lead a dedicated team in delivering an engaging and high-quality Physical Education curriculum. You will be responsible for shaping the vision of the department, developing exciting sports programs, and ensuring that all students have the opportunity to participate, progress, and excel.
Your role will include:
- Leading and developing a strong PE department
- Designing and delivering an engaging and inclusive PE curriculum
- Inspiring students to develop a love for sport, fitness, and healthy living
- Organizing and promoting school sports events and competitions
- Supporting and mentoring other PE staff members
- Managing resources and ensuring the department meets high standards
About You:
- A qualified PE teacher with QTS (or equivalent)
- Proven experience leading or supporting a PE department
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students
- A passion for sport and fitness, with a commitment to student development
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
