Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Cheadle

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £130 - £140 Per day

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
• Follow the school's curriculum and lesson plans
• Manage the classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
• Provide feedback to students on their progress and performance
• Communicate with school staff and parents regarding student behaviour and academic performance

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

• Previous experience teaching in a classroom setting
• Experience working with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional training or certifications in special education or behaviour management
• Experience working as a supply teacher in a similar setting

Working Conditions:

• Work in various schools within the designated area
• Full-time hours with potential for early morning calls for assignments
• Interact with students, school staff, and parents on a daily basis

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
