Job description

Science Teacher Needed – Secondary School in Greater Manchester

Location: Client Secondary School in Bolton, Bury, or Salford
Start Date: After the Easter Break 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Salary: Competitive, in line with MPS/UPS (£31,650 - £49,084 per annum)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our client secondary school after the Easter break. This is a full-time opportunity to teach KS3 and KS4 Science, working in a well-supported department with modern facilities.

The Role:

  • Delivering engaging Biology, Chemistry, or Physics lessons to students aged 11-16.
  • Planning, marking, and assessing in line with school policies.
  • Supporting students of varying abilities and ensuring progress in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Working within a collaborative department that values innovation and student success.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 level.
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to engage and inspire students.
