About the Role:
The Headteacher and Governing Body of a respected primary school in Wavertree are looking for an experienced and proactive Primary Teacher to oversee Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) across five classes, along with taking on an intervention role. The successful candidate will work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, supporting students in Years 1 to 5. Additionally, on a half-day each week, they will provide targeted maths support to a small group of Year 5 pupils to help close gaps in learning.

This highly regarded primary school is located in the heart of Wavertree. With a well-respected Headteacher and a low turnover of staff, the school offers a warm and inclusive environment equipped with excellent resources. This role has become available due to the current postholder relocating, offering a potential temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate. This position is ideal for an experienced teacher seeking a part-time role within a supportive school community.

The school maintains a GOOD standard of behaviour; however, the successful candidate must have strong behaviour management skills and be committed to upholding the school-wide behaviour policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
