Job description

Job Title: Primary School Teacher (Key Stage 1)

Location: Liverpool, Merseyside, North West England

Job Type: Full-Time Contract

Industries: Education and Training

Salary: £110 - £160 Per Day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 1 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to students and parents
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant degree in Education or related field

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching Key Stage 1 students is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a classroom and student behaviour

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL)

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Work in a classroom setting with Key Stage 1 students
  • Potential interaction with parents, colleagues, and school leadership

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
