Key Responsibilities

As a Maths Specialist Class Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver exceptional mathematics lessons tailored to a variety of learning styles.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Identify and support individual pupils’ strengths and areas for development in mathematics.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create cross-curricular connections that enrich the learning experience.
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupils’ progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A genuine passion for mathematics and strong subject knowledge.
  • Experience teaching mathematics at the primary school level.
  • Creative teaching strategies that inspire and motivate pupils.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues, pupils, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
