Job description

Job Title: KS2 Class Teacher

Location:

North West England, Merseyside, Liverpool

Job Type:

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£110 - £160 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and monitor student progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a classroom

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of child development
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques
  • Good IT skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working in a diverse school setting

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, interacting with students, colleagues, and parents. The teacher will follow the school's academic calendar and work full-time hours during term time.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
