Intervention Class Teacher

Contract, Full-Time hours

Salary:

£110 - £160 Per day

Job Duties:

• Plan and deliver intervention sessions to support students' learning and development
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create individualised learning plans
• Provide feedback to students, parents, and school administration on progress and areas for improvement
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training sessions

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with students in a classroom setting
• Knowledge of educational assessment methods and strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Proficiency in using educational technology in the classroom
• Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Special Education or related field
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs

Working Conditions:

The Intervention Class Teacher will work in a classroom environment within a school setting. The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate student needs and participate in school events or activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
