PPA Teacher

Location:

Toxteth, Merseyside, Liverpool

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£110 - £160 Per day

Job Duties:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons during teachers' Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time
• Assess students' progress and provide feedback
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the school's educational goals
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and development

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Experience working in a similar role

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate certificate in Education
• Specialist subject knowledge

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school environment with regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents. The working hours are typically during school hours, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
