About the Role:

A respected Primary School in Anfield is seeking an experienced and proactive Primary Teacher to cover PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) across five classes, as well as to take on an intervention role. The successful candidate will work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, supporting students in Years 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Additionally, for half a day, they will focus on a small group of Year 5 pupils, helping to close gaps in their maths knowledge.

This highly regarded Primary School is in the heart of Anfield. The Head Teacher is well-respected within the community, and the school benefits from a stable staff with very low turnover. The vacancy has arisen due to the relocation of the current postholder, offering a potential temporary-to-permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher looking for a part-time position in a welcoming and inclusive school with excellent resources.

The school upholds GOOD standards of behaviour, but the successful candidate must have strong behaviour management skills and follow the school's comprehensive behaviour policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
