PPA Teacher – City Centre (L2)

About the Role:

The Head Teacher and governing body of a well-regarded primary school in Liverpool City Centre are seeking an experienced and proactive Primary Teacher to oversee PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) for five classes within the school, as well as take on an intervention role. The successful candidate will work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, providing support to students in Years 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. On the remaining half-day, they will teach a small group of Year 5 pupils, focusing on closing gaps in their maths learning.

This esteemed and highly sought-after primary school is centrally located in Liverpool City Centre. The Head Teacher is well-respected and recognised within the local community, and the school has a stable staff with very low turnover. The current vacancy has arisen due to the relocation of the permanent postholder, presenting a potential temporary-to-permanent opportunity. This role is ideally suited for an experienced teacher seeking a part-time position within a warm, inclusive school environment equipped with exceptional resources.

The school maintains a GOOD standard of behaviour, but the successful candidate must possess excellent behaviour management skills and adhere to the comprehensive whole school behaviour policy.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
