Position: Pastoral Lead
Location: A small and friendly primary school in Bootle, L20
Start Date: January 2025
Employment Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide social, emotional, and behavioural support to pupils.
  • Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure the well-being of children.
  • Develop and implement pastoral strategies to enhance engagement and achievement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for safeguarding and well-being concerns.

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a pastoral or support role.
  • A deep understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusivity and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
