About You:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join our school in Lytham St Anne's. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual who shares our values and is committed to providing the best education for our students.

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for students in Key Stage 2, following the curriculum and our school's teaching methodology.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing valuable feedback to students, parents, and guardians to support their learning and development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes active student engagement and fosters a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies, sharing best practises and supporting each other's professional growth.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent-teacher conferences, contributing to the school's continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS Check - we can help provide this.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and pedagogy.
  • Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with a passion for building relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and support their individual growth.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to support their learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
