Year 4 Teacher Opportunity in Blackpool (FY4)

Start Date: 21st April 2025

Salary: £120 - £160 per day

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)

About Us: Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Blackpool, rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The school is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join their team.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of Year 4 students, ensuring alignment with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess and Track Pupil Progress: Regularly evaluate student performance, providing feedback and adapting teaching strategies to support individual learning journeys.
  • Foster a Positive Learning Environment: Establish a classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, inclusivity, and a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with fellow teachers and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school's ethos.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.
  • Experience in KS2: Prior experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 4, is highly desirable.
  • Strong Classroom Management Skills: Ability to manage and engage a class of varying abilities effectively.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine commitment to inspiring and supporting students' academic and personal growth.
