Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher looking for a new opportunity to inspire young minds? We are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our vibrant and supportive team at our Primary School in Accrington.

The Role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting children in either Year 1 or Year 2, helping them develop essential skills in reading, writing, and mathematics, while encouraging their social and emotional growth. You will deliver engaging lessons, promote a positive classroom atmosphere, and work closely with parents and staff to support the holistic development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe and supported.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback and setting achievable targets.
- Provide Phonics supporting and plan Phonics interventions to help children with their Phonics Screening.
- Work closely with colleagues to implement school-wide initiatives and best practices.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate records of children achievements and support individual needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Years 1 or Year 2).
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach to teaching.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
