Job description

Job Title: Supply Teacher - Chorley

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Chorley

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours

Salary: £130 - £160 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions to students across different age groups and abilities
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt them to meet the needs of the students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to promote learning and development
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and work with diverse student populations

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject
  • Experience in teaching within a school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the UK national curriculum
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or certifications in specific subject areas
  • Experience working as a supply teacher in a variety of schools
  • Experience with SEN students

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the potential for ongoing work
  • Based in Chorley, with travel to different schools in the area
  • Full-Time hours, typically following the school day schedule
  • Opportunity to work with a variety of students and gain valuable teaching experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
