About the School

A well-respected school in Blackpool is seeking a dynamic and dedicated teacher to join their KS2 teaching team from April 21st. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurturing and passionate teacher looking to take the next step in their education career. The school is OFSTED rated GOOD and has strong leadership across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons based on the school's KS2 curriculum.
  • Maintain the school's high standards of teaching and learning, ensuring students remain engaged and motivated.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour, creating a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their work, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Uphold the school's values and contribute positively to the school community.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Experience teaching a range of year groups (primary or secondary experience is acceptable).
  • Strong classroom management skills and a positive, proactive approach to teaching.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and respond to the diverse needs of students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
