Job description

Exciting Opportunity for a KS1 Teacher at Everton Primary School (L5)

We are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Primary Teacher. This opportunity is for a Year 2 Teacher position at a well-regarded Everton Primary School, commencing from January 2025.

We warmly welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced fully inducted Teachers. The school is an Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ primary school and it is known for its strong leadership under the guidance of the Head Teacher, senior leaders, and Governors. The school's vision is clearly defined by its Catholic ethos, emphasising the commitment to cater to the needs of its pupils and families, ensuring that every student has an equal opportunity to excel.

Considering the importance of the KS1 SATs during this period, the Head Teacher has emphasised the need for the successful candidate to have prior experience in teaching Year 2. Whether you are a Trainee Teacher or a qualified Teacher, having a solid understanding of the Year 2 expectations will be highly valuable. In your application, we also expect you to demonstrate a creative yet purposeful approach to teaching and learning, exceptional organisational skills, and a deep commitment to both the role and the development of the pupils.

Early Career Teachers will receive excellent support and mentoring from the school’s KS1 Lead, ensuring a nurturing and growth-oriented environment for professional development.

Don't miss this incredible opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young learners while being part of a dynamic and supportive educational community.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
