EYFS Teacher
A school in the Kettering area is recruiting for an Early Years Foundation Stage teacher. This role is full time and is currently until January 2022, however, there is potential for this role to become permanent for the remainder of the academic year. The Head Teacher of this school is focused on pupil retention and has high expectations of progression for each child.
The Role
Your role will be to plan fun and engaging lessons that benefit each pupil within the EYFS setting. Creativity and imagination is key to leading a variation of lessons to ensure that each child progresses accordingly with the EYFS curriculum. Building positive and lasting relationships with the child and their parents is a must to ensure a positive transaction as children leave EYFS to move into Key Stage 1.
The Candidate
- Qualified Teaching Status is essential
- Prior experience of teaching in an early years setting
- Possess a nurturing nature
- Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of a range of teaching, learning and behaviour management strategies and how to implement them effectively
- Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a range of assessment requirements and arrangements
- High levels of drive and energy
- Demonstrates a personal commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and rights of young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
