Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School in Bolton

Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome challenges? A secondary school in Bolton is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their team after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs in a mainstream school setting.

The Role:

• Work closely with students who require additional behaviour support, offering guidance and mentoring.

• Build positive relationships with students to help them develop confidence and resilience.

• Implement behaviour management strategies to encourage engagement in learning.

• Work alongside teachers, pastoral teams, and SENCOs to create personalised support plans.

• Support students both in class and through one-to-one interventions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with young people in an educational, youth work, or pastoral setting.

• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.

• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.

• The ability to build rapport and act as a positive role model.

• A relevant qualification in education, psychology, youth work, or similar is desirable but not essential.
