Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School in Bolton
Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome challenges? A secondary school in Bolton is looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join their team after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by supporting students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs in a mainstream school setting.
The Role:

Work closely with students who require additional behaviour support, offering guidance and mentoring.

Build positive relationships with students to help them develop confidence and resilience.
-
Implement behaviour management strategies to encourage engagement in learning.
-
Work alongside teachers, pastoral teams, and SENCOs to create personalised support plans.
-
Support students both in class and through one-to-one interventions.
What We’re Looking For:
-
Experience working with young people in an educational, youth work, or pastoral setting.
-
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations.
-
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
-
The ability to build rapport and act as a positive role model.
-
A relevant qualification in education, psychology, youth work, or similar is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
