Female PE Teacher – Stockport (ASAP Start)

We are recruiting for a Female PE Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in Stockport, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to teach KS3 and KS4 PE in a well-resourced school that values sports, health, and student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging PE lessons that motivate students to stay active and healthy.

  • Teaching a variety of sports and activities, encouraging teamwork and skill development.

  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Promoting health and wellbeing through an inclusive and engaging curriculum.

  • Contributing to extracurricular sports clubs, events, and competitions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching PE at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).

  • A passion for sports and student development, with strong classroom management skills.

  • The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
