Teaching Assistant (Unqualified but Experienced with Challenging Behaviour & SEN Needs)

Location: Preston, PR2.
Salary: Competitive (depending on experience).
Hours: Full-time, temporary.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our students with SEN and challenging behaviour. While formal qualifications aren't necessary, experience in working with children with additional needs is essential. Your role will involve supporting classroom teachers, working 1:1 with students, and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with SEN and behavioural challenges.
  • Assist in implementing tailored educational plans.
  • Help create a safe and encouraging learning atmosphere.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with students.
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure every child is supported.
