Secondary School in Timperley looking for experienced Teaching Assistants for September (full-time)

A secondary school based in Timperley (just outside of Altrincham and Sale – Trafford) that is situated close to the tram line are currently recruiting through Teaching Personnel for a number of SEN and General Teaching Assistants to start on a full-time basis in September. The role will be for one full academic year, with the possibility it then becoming a permanent position for the right candidate.

The role will involve you working with a number of students (between Year 7 and 11) in a 1:1 setting, supporting them with their schoolwork that has been provided to them on a daily basis. The opportunity to get involved in a rewarding role which will allow you to build positive working relationships that will allow you to see their development firsthand, is something that many Teaching Assistant find to be an attractive offer.

The provisions in school are well staffed and well-funded, offering unparalleled facilities to support the students in a number of areas. Whether you are experienced in working with pupils with SEN, or even a general TA role then we would like you to get in touch – we would then forward your CV to the school and organize the next steps. The school have received the incoming EHCP information for incoming pupils into year 7 and have requested a number of support staff to help accommodate these needs.

  • General or SEN Teaching Assistant role
  • Full-time for one full academic year (with possibility of becoming a permanent role before completion of the academic year)
  • Secondary School based in Timperley, close to public transport links.
  • Pay; £1,540 - £1,700 per month depending on level of experience.
  • Great opportunity to work in a long-term position in a fantastic supportive school that educators regularly ask to return to upon finishing contracts.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
